It's already half way through February!!???

WHAT!!!! How did that happen? This year is already flying by and spring is just around the corner.

Things are going well here on the home front....busy and exciting!

I surprised my hubby with a fun Valentine date. We did a private glass blowing event and each got to pick what we made and the colors. Then we were able to help heat the glass before the artist shaped it out for us. It also came along with great hours dervs (?)!

 After that we went to dinner and shared a nice Italian meal at Bucca de Bepo. And since our artwork would not be ready until the next day, what an excuse to stay overnight, right!?

We enjoyed walking through old Grapevine and sampling some of the great foods on the square, then to an afternoon movie, pick up our glass works and then home. Here are our finished pieces:

Next month is our anniversary trip to NYC! Can't wait to experience NYC and all it has to offer.

Just had an adjustment yesterday...holding on to a couple of pounds that I would like to go away. Eating a little more than I should be able to, so in for a tweak. Still have to fit into my mother of the bride dress.....and besides, I'm enjoying my new self too much to go back to what I was before!
