Happy 2014!!!

So I know it's not the 1st of January, but we were involved in getting our oldest daughter to the airport to fly out to California so she could get married!

Referring to my previous post, this year is going to be whirlwind and exciting. The first change in plans was my daughter's marriage. She and her fiancé had planned a March wedding unless his orders prevented it....well, they did. So now we are shooting for a fall wedding, but they both felt it wiser to get married at the courthouse in California before he shipped out as he still doesn't know how long he will be gone and they both want her to be able to have access to him and plan for any moves and all the other stuff that comes with getting married to a military man. She will still graduate college in May and then looking at moving home and finish planning her wedding until he returns.

What does that mean for my husband and myself? We won't be exhausted for our 25th wedding anniversary! We are planning a trip to New York City....I'm excited because I've never been!

Both daughters are in the home stretch of school and all the flurry that comes with it. And of course a lot of Senioritis!!!

I've been so busy making sure nothing falls through the cracks with all the school/wedding/anniversary activities, that it has kept my mind occupied and that means I'm not thinking about whether or not I'm hungry as often. There are some days that I finally stop and realize that I didn't even take time to eat lunch! For me, keeping busy is another way that I can keep myself in check with maintaining my weight loss.

Looking with excitement to the next few months!! And am SO glad I have the energy and attitude to take it all on!

Until next time,
Lisa B.
