About a month ago, True Results called and asked if I would be willing to come in and do a testimonial and photo shoot....I said YES, how exciting!!
Well, today was the day. It was really cool getting to tell my story on camera. And if anyone knows me, I am not one to be in the spotlight...I guess my self-confidence kicked in because I wasn't nervous at all! Kinda felt like a movie star doing an interview.... The photo shoot was just as much fun because they wanted to do some posed shots and then you could just have fun while the photographer clicked away.
The other neat thing about today is that I got to meet a few ladies that I had heard their names and/or seen them on the TR commercials. We all laughed and had a great time.
Can' wait to see how everything turns out!
Update: My neck is healing nicely and I am in PT 2x a week to exercise my neck and strengthen my left arm to try and regain as much use of it as I can. I've regained almost half of my range of motion and am able to lift it some without assistance. YEAH!!! Sure makes putting on my tops a lot easier. It is still weak and has a long way to go, but I am very pleased with the progress so far. Driving is probably one of my biggest challenges because I must still wear my neck brace in any vehicle (ugh), so my range of motion is limited.
Well, only 2 weeks until school starts and so everything will be crazy, busy with last minute dr. appointments and school clothes shopping. I've also started a new card ministry through my church, so I am busy making cards to have ready to send out as needed to members and families in our community.
Until next time,
Lisa B.
