My breast reduction was a success without any complications! I went into surgery at 8 a.m. and got to my room at about 1:30 p.m. I spent the night for observation and came home this morning. I have had minimal pain, (was expecting more than I've had), it's more soreness than pain. As usual, there wasn't much sleep in the hospital last night so today I have been really tired and still not been able to fall asleep. Hopefully I will sleep better tonight.
Although I am visibly smaller in size and perkier; because of swelling and soreness and wearing a tight bra for compression, it doesn't feel like I am smaller. I know as the swelling and soreness go away they will feel more normal and I am SO excited to see the transformation progress! I think the first thing I did notice though is that it is much easier to breathe...I don't have the weight of them pressing down on my chest anymore and they are definitely NOT sagging anymore!!!! I am actually wearing a sports bra for the first time and it is a 34C. I was in a regular underwire 32DDD bra yesterday. WOW!!!!!!!
My nerves in my chest area are very sensitive and tingly as my feeling is beginning to come back some. So that is a really weird feeling, but SO worth it.
Until next time,
Lisa B.
