Today marks 6 months since my surgery. Although my weight loss has slowed down a bit, I still am very excited about the changes in my life thus far and know that it will only continue to get better!
Today I am at 175 lbs.--that is a loss of 56 lbs. I also took my body measurements this morning and was so surprised to see that I have lost a total of 34 inches! I am down 4 dress sizes from a 22 to a 14. It's really weird being able to shop in the regular clothes department now! So many more choices!!!!
So for fun, I decided to try on the jeans I kept from before the surgery as a reminder of where I started this journey at. Well, I couldn't stop laughing because I couldn't keep them up...they kept falling off! Talk about a way to boost my self esteem and keep me headed toward my goal. I also had a GREAT NSV---went to the movies with my husband and the seat felt like it swallowed me. I normally would have to keep my arms on the armrests because there was not enough room...I could put both my arms down beside me in the seat!!!! Woohoo!!!!!
It is a cold dreary day here and has been all week, but thoroughly enjoying the winter weather. Even built a small snowman with one of my daughters Sunday afternoon before the snow melted. Then we had a snowball fight! Reminds me of the fun I had as a kid growing up in Colorado.
